1. What We Collect

When you use Quilty Studio (QuiltyStudio.app) we collect:

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
• Images you upload — the source photos you turn into quilt patterns.
• Pattern data — the projects, configurations, and generated patterns/PDFs tied to your account.
• Usage data — basic logs and error reports used to keep the service reliable. We do not sell this or use it for advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your quilt patterns and store your projects.
• To maintain your account and let you sign in.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• To send essential, account-related messages where necessary.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your images or projects for advertising.

3. Public Patterns

Your patterns are private by default. If you choose to make a pattern public, it appears in the public gallery along with the display name on your account. You can make a public pattern private again at any time from your projects.

4. Communications & Mobile Information

Today, Quilty Studio sends only essential, account-related messages. If we introduce optional email or text (SMS) updates in the future, they will be strictly opt-in, never a condition of using Quilty, and you will be able to unsubscribe (or reply STOP to texts) at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a few service providers to run Quilty Studio:

• Google — sign-in (OAuth). Subject to Google’s privacy policy.
• Cloudflare R2 — stores your uploaded images and generated pattern files.
• Railway — cloud hosting where the application runs.
• An AI provider — used only for optional pattern-title suggestions when you request one.

These providers process data only to deliver the service. We do not share your information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page — this permanently removes your profile, saved projects, and uploaded and generated files.

7. Cookies

Quilty Studio uses a single session cookie required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

Quilty Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and associated data. To make a request, contact us below.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
